Creating an Artificial Intelligent Machine to Run Our Civilization

Before humans embark on creating an artificial intelligent system to run our entire civilization, we must consider one of the fundamental principles and realities about complex systems and engineers, namely to Keep It Simple Stupid also know by its famous acronym; KISS. Not long ago, I was having this conversation with an acquaintance and I mentioned the need for keeping it simple to prevent catastrophic failure at the worst possible time. To that point my acquaintance asked; “Oh, you mean Murphy’s Law?”
